KIDS RACE – 1 KM

The Kids Race is an additional attraction for enabling the participation of kids. The idea is to “catch them young” and instil in them wellness awareness through Physical fitness. In the present-day realities this assumes greater importance when children tend to get glued to mobiles & laptops with less and less physical activities that lead to obesity and other avoidable health problems.
Registration
Registration can be made online or through Sargakshetra office. Registration fee will be Rs. 600/- including GST- it covers the child’s right to participate in the race and make use of all event related facilities like race kit, T shirt, an engraved medal and breakfast for the child and one parent. Last date for registration will be 18th November 2025.
Who can participate?
For the Kids Race, the participants are grouped into two viz.
- Group 1 – Children in the age group of 6 to 9 years.
- Group II – Children the age group of above 9 years to 12 years.
Starting Time
The event will start at 6.30 AM for both categories. You need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start. The parent can accompany the child during the race if necessary.
Are there any Prizes
The first, second and third places in each group shall be given gift packets.
Q: What is the starting time and time limit?
The event will start at 7:30 AM for group 1 and at 7:45 am for group II. You need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start. The parent can accompany the child during the race if necessary.
Note: After 8.00 A.M. there will be partial traffic in many places and thereafter full traffic will be open. Any participant running with the event bib after 9:00 A.M. will be lifted off the course on our vehicles. This is being done for the safety of the participants.
Q: Race kit collection?
Registered participants should collect the Race kit from the Sargakshetra office, Chethipuzha, Changanacherry on the date and time as mentioned here.
Date for collection of kit:
28 th November 2025 between 10 AM to 6 PM
29 th November 2025 between 10 AM to 6 PM
In case you cannot make it at the above times please authorize your friend to collect the same on your
behalf with the following documents.
1. Authorization letter signed duly by you
2. Copy of your registration confirmation email
3. Copy of ID proof
You may collect another participant’s race kit provided you have that participant’s receipt, authorization letter to collect on his/her behalf and copy of participant’s ID proof.
Q: Is there a refund policy?
Refund will not be given and if we i.e. race organizers cancel the event the option is to switch their deferral to next year.
Q: Can the race category be changed after registration?
Yes, provided you intimate us at least a week before the closing date by email at our email id marathonchry@gmail.com
Q: Can a mistake in the registration be rectified?
Yes, provided you intimate us at least a week before the closing date by email at our email id marathonchry@gmail.com
Q: Will there be a baggage counter?
Yes, but at the participant’s risk. Organizers will not accept responsibility for any theft/damage.
