About Sargakshetra

Sargakshetra was established by its Founder in 2002 for the public benefit and it is recognized globally. Throughout our great history, Sargakshetra has offered access to a wide range of academic opportunities. As Kerala’s leader for bringing out and nurturing the hidden talents, capabilities and skill sets in the young generation, we have pioneered change in the sector. The noble venture is helmed by CMI fathers. All their activities are inspired by the saintly life of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara. Sargakshetra ensures the comprehensive and holistic development of the society. The Kshetra is a center gravitated towards human resources development operated under able stewardship of CMI Sacred Heart Monastery, Chethipuzha.

Sargakshetra plays a pivotal role in the cultural, creative, artistic and behavioral development of people, irrespective of caste and religion. Sargakshetra is the breeding ground of the creative talents of the young generation. It is a fertile ground to cultivate and develop native human potentials and creativity. Inspired by the vision and heritage of St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara, one of the founding fathers of the CMI congregation, the CMI fathers have been actively engaged in providing holistic and integral development to individuals through education and socio-cultural activities. Sargakshetra is one such center for human resources development run under the auspices of CMI Sacred Heart monastery, Chethipuzha. Sargakshetra aims at developing the socio-cultural potentials and the artistic and creative talents of the people of all age groups, irrespective of their caste and creed by giving them proper motivation and training Sargakshetra Cultural Centre is an initiative of the CMI Congregation founded by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. The goal of this cultural center is to promote the holistic development of individuals and society. The approach of Sargakshetra is unique by preparing an alternative system in the face of challenges and adversities.

Sargakshetra has a vision of creating a better society by helping individuals to identify, nurture and develop all their creative talents and potentials for the service and well-being of the society. This multi-dimensional process is worked out through orientation and training programmes and various socio-cultural activities.

The motto of the Centre is “A BETTER PERSON FOR A BETTER SOCIETY “. The mission of the centre is to provide incentive and expertise to people for a holistic and integral development of their creative and communicative talents in order to create a peaceful society.
