Material Relief

As part of the flood mitigation measures, a kit containing essential materials like bed sheet, soap, comb, dettol, hand wash, bathing towel, detergent, sanitary pad, baby diapers, baby food, medicines, dress materials, various food materials, etc were distributed to meet the humanitarian needs. The kit was distributed to 37000 families in various parts of Kuttanad region from 25th July.In addition to these relief activities, Sargakshetra handed over 40,000 face masks and 1000kg Bleaching powder. Drinking water was supplied using a 10000 liters capacity tanker, 25 wells were cleaned, wiring of 20 houses was checked, 500 houses were cleaned as well. An Aid Hub was also started at Kalarcode in Alappuzha.
